How do I get lockscreen widgets back?

On my Gnex and Nexus 10, I was initially annoyed by lockscreen widgets, and I did something to get rid of them. I can't recall what I did, but I think I may have just removed all but one slot, and put the clock in the remaining one. I've decided I want to add another widget now, but can't figure out how. I don't have the space with the +, and I've tried every permutation of swiping I can think of. There don't seem to be any settings related to this.

Does anyone have any idea how I can regain the ability to add widgets on the lockscreen?

did you install an app called lock screen policy?? if so you need to re enable them. If not, when you wake the phone you should see brackets on the sides of the screen that go away after a few seconds. if you dont, you have disabled them through another app or method. if you do see them just swipe over from left to right.

I figured out what I did, and am posting this for anyone else who runs into the same thing. There is a setting in Google Apps control panel, under Settings > Mobile, that allows you to turn off lockscreen widgets for the entire domain.
