I came across a thread which asked those who have a HTC One, to post their home screens up. Owing the customization Android brings plus the imagination of those who own a HTC One some great screens popped up although one in particular blew me away. I was wondering how can I get it on my rooted HTC One (I'd appreciate it if you could name the app and settings along with any widgets) ?! Thanks ! tapatalk_1386770989104.jpeg

There are lots of apps, widgets, themes, icon packs and customization you can do on Android, just search on the Playstore and try to create your own. No one will be able to specifically determine all the customization done on that screenshot. For starter you can use something like Themer.

Battery life on that setup doesn't look promising btw.

I suppose their has to be a way on how to get this particular set up !
As for the battery life, I suppose your right but then again I'll have to wait and see although by just having this as the home screen, it looks ok probably just the weather widget that might drain battery life, everything else static in the sense, unless you do something (i.e swipe down) they won't work

The OP of the screenshot, "Pat Glennon" describes what he used a few posts further down in the "post your home screens" thread.

Here the quote:

The sliders are straight out of Widget Locker. If you resize them you can get them to go top to bottom rather than left/right.
The date/time is Elegante Clock on uccw.
The weather is eye in the sky.
The battery is circle battery widget.
The calendar is simple calendar widget.

Is this a home screen or a lock screen as the name of the app indicates its a lock screen

It is probably the home screen. The app name probably means like school locker; i.e. a place for store widgets.

Oh thanks, I wondering how does a set up like this affect battery life

Homescreen widgets are rarely much of a drain. Some have issues, specially the ones requiring use of a radio (Wi-Fi, 4G, LTE, GPS et al...) But, on the whole, the difference is typically minimal.

Data use for perpetually updating status and notification widgets is probably more of an issue than battery drain if you have a limited or expensive data plan.

Above post has a good point. Most widgets allow you to change the refresh rate, therefore reducing battery consumption, if you change to longer refresh intervals.

I've checked the app in the app store and it states it's for the lock screen

How are ytou along this project ? It's been over 10 days since your last post... Have you found what you needed ?

I haven't, I've settled for another home screen as I'm of the belief the app required is used only for the lock screen only

I also get the clicking. Photos are a mix of good and bad. If there is plenty of light they look fantastic, but anything indoors is horrible. I get about a 50/50 of green or red brackets. Its almost like the camera was a half assed after thought. I hope software can fix it but I am not returning my phone over a poor camera. It takes good enough pics for mms LOL. Anything else I use my DSLR for.

There are themed widgets/customizations in the Play Store. You can also achieve this effect with a third party launcher and changing the icons to whatever you want.
