How do I get my touch screen from repeatedly tapping?

Simple touch question.

Sometimes when I am using the calculator or Draw Something the screen enlarges, by repeatedly tapping the screen sometimes it reverts to normal or I have to completely come out of the app then return.
What am I doing to get the screen to enlarge, how can I then revert it or better still how can I disable that function?

You might have Magnification gestures enabled. Go to Settings > Accessibility and see if you have it turned on. When triple tapping on your screen it allows any app to magnify itself but some apps are possibly buggy so it doesn't activate on them.
