How do I get notifications on AOD or lock screen?

I had them at first but now no longer do...
I've checked all settings for the ones I want - calls & messages but the only options are Do not show notifications & Hide content for the lock screen.

Under AOD settings the only options that states that notification icons, face widgets & contact information aren't shown is on the edge clock.

Any help would be appreciated.

Nevermind, sorry I had all app notifications off not thinking it would turn phone/message off. Not too bright lol. Just turned off all apps off individually.
