How do I get rid of PIN screen unlocking access on S5 with 4.4.4?

Just bought S5 with 4.4.4 from Costco yday. Set up the Pin code for unlocking screen thinking I could choose different method later. Nope. I want to go back Swipe, but can't. No choices are listed now, except to change the PIN number. Am I screwed or can I change this without resetting the phone to defaults? Thanks!

Went over to Go Wireless to talk to my reliable "tech support" guys. They agreed - should not have happened and suggested that I got the phone made on a Friday or Monday. So, I'm taking the phone back tomorrow and starting over. I think I'll try the setup while we're all standing there. I told both Go Wireless and Costco that I've spent two days working with you and to no avail. They were both at a loss, as well.
