That's weird. I guess it's a carrier issue then. My Verizon one has it.

Yeah AT&T is know for just being super weird with their phone software.

Nope. The problem with those, is that turning them off would do much more than just remove the persistent notification.

I guess I'll just live with it. I've done it for several phones in the past, I'll do it again.
