I want to get rid of the rectangular volume bar on a Samsung S20 that is on the screen edge. I want the volume line like it was at the top until system updates yesterday. This is a small rectangular box. I don't like it. Any help will be appreciated.

How do I unmerge? I'm sorry. Also, I can't get a screen shot because the icon disappears quickly.

You can do this by downloading Good Lock from the Galaxy Store. Then, add the SoundAssistant module for Good Lock.

Open Good Lock > Go to SoundAssitant on the Family tab > Toggle on and open the volume panel theme option > Set volume panel theme to Classic for a horizontal volume display.

By sytem update I assume you mean you upgraded to Android 11 and One UI 3.0? If so, you'll have to wait for the fix below until Good Lock is updated to run with the latest firmware (I don't think it is as yet). If you're still on Android 10 and One UI 2.5...

They referring to volume bar being on top or bottom of notification panel?

Sound Assistant within GoodLock is working with UI 3.0, so the "Classic" panel theme can be set to put the volume back at the top.

Here are some screenshots using Sound Assistant (on UI 3.0) and the difference between the volume on the right and top (using Classic panel theme)
