how do i get the world surf league app on my kindle fire?

I'm trying to watch live surf contest on wsl, world surf league, but it says I must get the app first from Google app store. Someone please walk me thru this, I'm so fed up. Thank you so much.

Welcome to Android Central! If the app is available on Google Play Store but not the Amazon Appstore, then you're a bit stuck, since Kindles don't have access to the Play Store.
