How do I make a folder under gallery on my Moto E?

How do I make a folder under gallery on my moto e? I really want to sort my photos.

I have pics of a festival and I want to put them in a separate folder from my other pictures.

Hi, welcome to the forums! You should be able to create a folder if you tap on the folder icon with a + sign top right, after you select "albums" in the side menu.
