How do I make a phone call on an asus zenwatch 2?

I currently have a samsung 5A phone and a Asus zenwatch 2. I am trying to make a phone call from the watch, but it just keeps coming out of my phone. How do I change this?

Only the 49MM model can make calls. You don't mention which version you are using.
