How do I make a shortcut on homescreen for GV dialing via Hangouts?

Now that I can use my GV number to dial numbers from Hangouts, how can I make shortcuts to individual contacts, on my homescreen, so that I can call via Hangouts/GV, instead of making shortcuts to contacts that are dialed via the regular phone app?
