The standard plug in and use the SD Card is terribly slow, dont know why modern phones chose this path. On my BlackBerry I have the option to mount the USB as a USB device and like a USB stick drag and drop. How do I do that? when I plug the phone in, my USB option in the storage setting goes grey.

Are you using Windows or a Mac?

Windows, when I plug it in, I get this little MP3 icon that lets me use the storage, but, I cant do very much besides drag and drop files that transfer painfully slow and once they are in therem I cant CTRL + Click select anything, it's like a half baked version of the normal explorer.

From what I understand, Google switched to using the MTP protocol instead of being able to mount the phone as a disk. Supposed to cause less problems in the long run.

I dislike all SYNCing software. I prefer to do it by hand. It's always been that way for me. Nothing easier than opening a folder, clicking what you need and dragging it to the mass drive. No need to open programs go through pretty UI slapped on top of clunky interfaces.

If I would've known it was so slow I might have done the same. Paid for the premium version before paying for the trial, so I guess I'll stick with it. Haha.
