How do I move photos from Facebook synced, back to Gallery.

I downloaded a browser app onto my Galaxy S5. I didn't like it. when I uninstalled it, my almost 500 pictures on my phone were wiped out. Slowly the pics started downloading back onto my phone. But it put them in Facebook synced. I never wanted them there at all. How do I get them off Facebook and back to Gallery on my phone?

I think this will put them in your download folder but you can go into your FB app and view photos. In the upper right hand corner open the menu and select save photo, or download photo, and it will bring them back to your device. Now there is not a batch operation for this that I have found on the device. Your other options would be to view FB on a PC or laptop and send them to your Google Drive account, if you don't have one they're free and all you need is your Google ID, and there is a batch operation there for saving photos back onto your device. Again they will end up in your download folder, but you can move them either with a PC, laptop, or some file manager apps back to your Gallery. If you're not using Drive or Dropbox you may want to take a look at either or both for pic storage. I prefer Drive, but I'm a Google kind of person, but the photos can be stored in the cloud safe from harm, easily shared at 100% resolution, vs. MMS and email from device sharing, and are still able to be viewed on the device as though they are on the device, but can also be viewed from any internet connected device. Just throwing that out there....
