New Member, Security Question

In Settings>Security I have it set to password (did at at&t store) now I want to remove it 2 weeks later, its annoying and I work from home.
I go to change it and the options below are greyed out:
Lock Screen
No Lock Screen
Face Unlock (wouldn't use)

Available Options:
Pattern
Pin
Password

Have done all I know to do, so I created an Account to ask.

I have a non rooted M8 via AT&T

Thanks

There was the option of sliding a lock button up and that being all I had to do. Its gone now. Don't want to do a factory reset.

Re: New Member, Security Question

A couple questions and possibly an answer. Is this a work or personal phone? If it's a work phone, do you have work email being sent/synced to it? If so, It may be part of your work's security set up that has disabled the option to run without some type of password/security protection. Also, did you try choosing/setting up one of those other security features and then trying to disable it? Maybe it's a glitch of some sort.

Not business work phone. It's my phone I am self employed and use blue mail.

Yes I tried that went from a pin to a Password hoping to reset it that way. Then went to connect the dots and back to password.
I've done a system wipe as well. Not a restore.

Fixed. Solution.
Settings > Apps > Cleared Cache on Android services (don't remember which one exactly) but it's working now as it should.
