How do I retrieve photos from my previous phone if I have forgotten the password?

I am currently using a Samsung S6 and decided to download my photos from my Motorola; however, I have forgotten my password and the device is not recognizing my goggle password when I use the forgot password feature.

Did you have those photos saved through Google photos or any other cloud storage? If so you can retrieve them using your Google account.
