I received a photo from my friend via text message. How can I save this photo to my pictures on my Galaxy Note 3?

It works in Hangouts, other messaging apps may work differently.

In some phones it's downloaded automatically. If you can see the picture that means it was already downloaded, you just have to find where it is in your phone. Which text app are you using? Default app?
