How do I set ringtones on my G6?

I have copied all my ringtones to the internal Ringtones folder and rebooted my phone and they still don't appear. All I see is the "LG Ringtones" list. When I click the ADD icon, it takes me to the music folder. I'm new to this, having come from a BlackBerry Passport so any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to Android and to LG! Hope you're enjoying your new phone! Have you tried going to your "downloads" section in your File Manager app? I feel like my G3 had an app like that where I could find my downloaded information. Try the reverse: press and hold on your downloaded ringtone and see if you can then set it as a ringtone.
