How do I set up a customized no ring on my Motorola Droid Turbo

I do not want the phone to ring when telemarketers call

Welcome to Android Central! That would require the phone to know that it's a telemarketer, which can be difficult. Even if you know of a number that is a telemarketer, they usually use many different numbers to call, so blocking one won't block the telemarketer for good.

After they call the first time, create a contact for the phone number (or add it to an existing contact called "telemarketers" or something). Then open the contact in the people app, hit the menu, and set the ringtone for the contact to nothing, or have it send directly to voicemail.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but...get a call blocker app - one that recognizes telemarketing numbers. There's quite a few in the app store.

I'm curious--how good are those apps at recognizing telemarketer numbers? A single telemarketer or robocaller will often use a whole variety of phone numbers to call from, so if you block one of them, they'll get you with another number.

I've had great luck with them...can't remember the last time I've had to answer a telemarketing call.
