Not a noob but I really don't know how I would set up my college email which is powered by Windows Live..Using the htc email app by the way.
If not possible, any apps?
The email looks like this: MyName@my.stlcc.edu and its powered by Wineries Live

sent from the current baddest cell phone on the planet.....the HTC Evo 4G

My college e-mail hasn't worked with a BB, a Palm Pre, or my EVO to date, might be something about the .edu in the address?

It's not the .edu that is the issue. It would be dependent if the school's email servers support android email. You would need to contact your schools tech support to find out how the server is set up. I have a .edu address set up on my DX, it is set up as an exchange server.

Google something like "how to setup (school's name) email on android." Thats what I did to get mine setup.

My student email is also powered by Windows live mail. I just looked at my settings. The server address I used was m.outlook.com, and I had to use my entire email address as the username.

Hope this helps.

Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk.

If everything you try doesn't work, just set it up to forward all incoming mail to a gmail account or another email you have. That's what I did, and it works like a charm.

If using windows live mail, use EAS with the htc mail app.
