How do I stop the Facebook app from crashing on my Galaxy Tab 3?

My no carrier Tab 3 10.1 os updated yesterday and i installed latest FB and no problems as of yet.

Me too!!! I'm so glad I got the unexpected Android update last night on my tablet and its fixed the Facebook problem. I will start using my tablet more now.

unfortunately I came to get answers and see more and more people with the same problem too its not just facebook on mine though other games also crash and my tab 3 gets really hot when watching films on Netflix. I assume this isn't meant to be happening either?

My Samsung Galaxy tab 3 keeps crashing when I use the facebook app. I tried uninstalling and reinstall the facebook app. I have cleared cache I did everything but bring it back to factory settings, which I don't want to do everything else works fine. This seemed to happen after a major android update maybe? Anybody else experiencing this problem?

How did you get this update and from where? And what version is it? Need more info cause I'm not getting any update from Samsung I checked.

On researching it looks like it was a kernel update built on something like 10/21/2014. The OS is still 4.4.2. It just appeared on my wifi only device.

Fix by Facebook ! Update Facebook version 21.0.0.23.12 just arrived in the play store.

So update your app
