How do I swap over data from an s7 to an s8

My wife hates her s8 and wants my s7. She obviously has all her data on her s8 and wants to transfer it onto my s7. I have all my data on my s7 and want to transfer it onto her s8. Can it be done?

You'll need to do a multi-step process. If you have a PC handy, Samsung has a SmartSwitch tool for the computer that allows you to make a backup of each device. You could then restore the back of one device to the other. One word of caution - you may get hung up if the OS on the device the restore is going to is older than the device the backup was made from.

You should also be aware of Factory Reset Protection. You should log out of (or remove) all Google and Samsung accounts from both devices (AFTER THE BACKUP!!) prior to resetting them to start setting them up for the different person.
