My question is not about transfer of media but Contacts. In Windows 8 phone Contacts seem to be held on the phone itself. The People hub in Windows8 mobile provides no options for exporting Contacts and only certain folders are searchable on a PC (Contacts seem to be hidden).
An IT specialist told me I can do this using Zune but Zune does not recognise my Windows phone unless I change its setting to MTP and I cannot see how to do this. Even so I am unsure if Zune will allow for interaction with Contacts.
