How do I transfer pictures off my galaxy light phone to my laptop???

transfering pics off my old smartphone was easy but I can't seem to do it with this phone. I have seen where it says to find some file and copy and paste it but I have no way of knowing how to do that either. So What do I do??

Connect your phone to your PC, open up the the removable storage drive on the pc, look under the folder DCIM and you should be able to view your photos. You can then copy and paste them or drag them to the PC.

Might also be worth installing something like Google Photos or Dropbox, to help you back-up photos to be on the safe side.
