How do I turn off a tablet in boot mode if it is frozen and will not respond?

how to turn of tablet in boot mode if it is frozen and will not respond

I have a dragon touch 10.1 and I accidently picked it up pushing the power button and volume button and it went into boot mode and then it had volume up to select and volume down is ok : the modes were recovery, fastboot and normal. the arrow was on fastboot and then at the bottom it had an arrow pointing to( fastboot mode.....) I have tried to turn it off, I have pushed up and down on volume but it will not do anything. just frozen with the words I have told you about. Please help I am a 64 old grandmother and I just got this tablet for my granddaughter and she is crying her heart out.

Try holding the power button until the tablet shuts off or reboots. If it shuts off then you can simply press the power button to power it back on. The device should boot back to the OS like normal. Let us know how that goes.
