How do I turn on dock mode on Moto 360 sport?

It worked for 2 days, then suddenly the dock mode was gone. I get the same always on screen that I see on my arm instead of the digital read out with the charging ring. I cannot figure out how it was deactivated, and nothing seems to bring it back on. Any ideas?

Can I assume that your 360 Sport is indeed charging while on the dock? I've had the occasional hiccups similar to yours. I solved it by whiping clean the back of my watch and the dock (granted the dock is always clean, probably what was on the watch). Other times I've had to take extra care that the watch was more accurately sitting horizontal in the dock. A few degrees off either clockwise/counterclockwise would result in unhappy results.
