How do i unlock my pin code for my samsung galaxy 5 without reseting it?

I would try logging into your Google Account on a PC and then go to Android Device Manager (https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager). From there you can setup a new password and GPS/Locate your device.

I have the same problem with a Galaxy Tab S2. I used Google Device manager to lock the tablet, but it wouldn't accept the new password. How do I unlock the tablet?
