How do I wipe cache partition

Hold volume up+home+power. In manual mode, use volume rocker to toggle to clear cache partition. Power to accept. When done, toggle using volume rocker to toggle to reboot. Power to accept.

As best I understand it, they are files generated by the operating system that aid the application to function.
