how do you clear the pattern in data protection in lollipop 5.1

In settings>safety>data protecttion i entered once and i was asked to give a pattern
but now I don't want to use this feature and I want to restore it to the previous state without a pattern at all. Because if I might use it in the future I will not remember it since I am not going to use it for the moment. But you don't have that choice. Only if you want to change the pattern with a new one. I want to remove the pattern completely and not to change it with another one.

You should be able to disable the pattern lock from the system > security menu.

Settings > Security > Trusted Credentials > Clear/Remove will solve this issue.
