How do you control the docking behavior?

I have the SDT-270 Media Charging Dock. Want to use it so that my G2 can be a bedside alarm clock. From reading other posts, it seems like there are ways to set what app launches when the phone is docked, but I have not been able to find any documentation on this. Is this possible? If so, any advice would be great. Thanks.

I think what your looking for is in Settings/Accessory/Dock
