how do you know if adobe flash is installed correctly?

it shows up in my applications but the buttons are all gray. When i play a video on Cnet.com, it plays very choppy and the sounds is in slow motion.

Yeah thats the same version I had on mine . I wasnt having a problem but I read in another thread that was the beta flash.

There is a thread with the final version of flash on it its titled those with 2.2 and flash 10.1, its on page 2 right now . I couldnt get the link to work for some odd reason this AM

Thanks davidnc, I think I read that article here and downloaded that newer version of flash player just want to make sure which version should it be.

ok cool ,I did not know how it would install but just like an update At least those boxes aren't greyed out and can be removed if for some reason .(Flash 10.1 v.10.1.92.8)
