How do you remove lollipop firmware on andriod or replace it with kitkat firmware

I have a samsung grand prime and it has the lollipop firmware on it and im not a fan of lollipop. I want to know how to remove it from my phone and have kitkat put on it instead. Ive tried using odin but it wont install kitkat on the phone.
