How hard is it for your Note 8 to unlock with fingerprint/face unlock feature?

No issues the with the fingerprint scanner. The iris scanner wasn't bad. The face unlock was ok too. But mostly I use the fingerprint scanner.

I initially setup finger print and face because of where the fps is located. I had to turn face off. Not because it didnt work, in fact it worked too well. Crazy fast and the fps was quick too. Problem was often when I just wanted to see notifications it would completely unlock. So i'm back to fps and once you retrain your brain it's not so bad.

FPS and Iris work great for me , and agree that's it's simply a matter of retraining.

FPS works great, just find my self looking at tge back of the phone to find it, should improve some in time for location

I use pin, iris, fingerprint. Iris glitches in darker rooms at night maybe one out of three times. Fingerprint is a bit of a stretch but has been perfect on one finger (it refuses to recognize one, I think because how I hold it, I have small hands). Pin is fallback. Generally quite happy with both iris and fingerprint.

Problems with iris scanner for some people could be if the iris image isn't 100%
Set it up again in perfect light etc...
It should work best with as good as possible original image, mine works in the dark and I don't have to stare 100% straight at it

Yeah I did this as my iris scanner didn't work sometimes, but now it works great, I use iris and fingerprint for unlocking.

I have no issues with fingerprint unlock, but my face unlock has been starting to have issues and recognizing less and less ... even redid my picture

Do you people using face recognition and iris scanning wear glasses? I haven't bothered trying either one because the instructions say you need to take your glasses off to use them. That would be a major-league hassle, so why bother? The fingerprint recognition seems very fast and reliable, but you do have to grope around and find the sensor, so I usually just use a pattern swipe.

Note 7 was terrible with glasses never tried with N8 only facial and FPS

I use the fingerprint scanner and it works fine for me. the position should be better placed but it still works.

Yea, I can't see without my glasses on, I tried to do both and had issues so I am not bothering with either. I have no problem whatsoever with the fingerprint unlock, I'm fine with where the sensor is, my hands are big enough to handle it.

Not that hard. I am happily using the Fingerprint Scanner, and due to muscle memory, I am now used to using it. :)

I think my fingers are too cold. I'm having a hard time with the FPS. The iris scanner is great and works fine unless it's dark in the room or outside. I'm only using one eye and it's much easier to line up. I'm also using it for passwords.
