How is the operating system rolled back??

My Samsung SMP900 tablet automatically updated from 4.4.2 to 5.02 which has resulted in a very poor battery life. How do I role back to 4.4.2 please??

You need to find the factory firmware. Before you roll back, have you tried clearing the cache of the device? That'll likely fix your problem.
