How is your Unlocked Note 9 from Amazon working for you? (T mobile Network)

So I am thinking of getting the Note 9 through Amazon because I really don't want to wait until October to get it, but I have been cautious about it. One of the reasons is because I am afraid that some features may not work(if not now, then in the future). My other reason is because while I do have insurance, if the phone breaks, then what would I do? Would I be out the money or would Tmobile replace my device even though i would have it through Amazon?

Anyways, I would like to hear from you, how has your unlocked Note 9 from Amazon been on Tmobile's network?

I have an Unlocked Note 9 on TMobile but I got mine from Samsung not Amazon (idk what the difference would be) but mine has been great! Great experience with this phone

So everything works fine? What happens if you break your phone or need to replace it? Will T mobile do that for us or are we just SOL?

I have an unlocked Note 9 on T-mobile. I bought the phone from Bestbuy. No problems at all. All features work (visual voicemail, VOLTE, Wifi Calling. etc..). All the things that did not work on my unlocked Note 8 on Verizon.

Samsung Note 9 Purple is a winner. T-mobile in my area is a winner (pricing and coverage).

I bought the 160 dollar Geek squad replacement coverage at BB. So it's covered.

I have the unlocked version and use Tmobile. Works great. No complaints. This is why I stick with Tmobile even after the BS they gave me with the Note 7. I'm on grandfathered plan I've had for years so I get cheaper texting and data.

I will probably order from Amazon next time due to better freebies and customer support versus rolling the dice with Samsung on an order.

i have an unlocked from Amazon (my first unlocked device) on T-mobile. All seems to be working fine. i noticed there is no video call icon on the dialer like my T-mo S9+. One thing i did notice though is the download speed is slower than what my S9+ used to do. the Note does 29down/7up while the S9+ used to do 50up/12 down. Call signal is good though as it pulls in a steady -69dBm.
i also noticed the unlocked lte icon is different. maybe just a graphic difference but the unlocked just says "LTE" while the tmo used to say "4GLTE".
other than not having the video call option on the dialer, the unlocked seems to behave just as my tmo branded S9+.

Wow -69dBm is awesome. Strongest signal I've seen is approx -85dBm.

Dataspeeds are consistently 20-50Mbps / 7-22Mbps. Not bad....

yup! I've never seen anything below 70's before. my S9+ was in the 79-90 range. pleasant surprise:)

Unlocked T-mo from Best Buy. Working great! Fast D/L on LTE. Great reception. No issues.

It's under Samsung warranty if there's a manufacturing defect. If you're worried about breaking it yourself, you either have to get your own insurance, or else pay for any repair/replacement yourself (which, on average in the long run, is less expensive than paying insurance premiums).

This!!! I have been owning smartphones from so many years and haven't paid monthly insurance etc. Even if there is insurance you got to pay deductible which is ridiculous. Even if I break I would happily pay the repair cost myself. The total amount I have saved over the years not paying this insurance will pay itself for multiple phones. Personally I don't phone insurance is waste but I do get different people feel differently.

Quick question, for those with the unlocked on T-Mobile network are you all missing a video call button in the dialer.I've contacted tmobile and they are unaware of why the button is missing. Any insight helps! Thanks
