Here's what is going on. I rooted and unlocked my GS3 tonight. Everything was working fine with the stock ROM at that point. I also installed ROM Manager and CWM on the phone and then backed up the stock OS.
Then, I downloaded the latest Synergy ROM to my computer. I unzipped it and copied it to the root of my SD card.
Finally, I rebooted the phone by turning it off and then holding the down vol, power and menu buttons. It asked me if I wanted to continue with a ROM install by hitting the up volume or not continue by hitting the down vol button again. I pressed the up volume button.
Now, the phone is sitting on the screen it gave me. It's been about an hour.
It gave me the following messages in the upper left corner:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SCH-I535
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: No
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Offical
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
The center of the screen has the big green android with the following words beneath it:
Downloading . . .
Do not turn off target!
So here I sit. It's been an hour and nothing has changed. Do you think this thing is working or is something else going on . . . and what do I do at this point?
I'll look forward to any advice you have. Thanks!
