The Verizon store told me that's the case. Only takes a few minutes to try.

I was told no. I think if you are going from one phone to another on the same line (phone number) you can just switch, but if your are actually going to use a phone which previously had a different number associated with it then you need new Sim cards. that's what I was told at the Verizon store when I asked if my husband and I could switch phones by just swapping out the sims.
Finally getting out of the bionic.. Verizon is sending me a Galaxy Nexus monday, should be here on Tues, can't wait![]()

I have 4 lines with Verizon and my next upgrade is in March. I've been chasing battery life since purchasing the Thunderbolt on launch day and again with the Bionic. Battery life being the single most important factor when choosing a device means I'll be purchasing the Razr Maxx next, that is of course something with equal or better battery life is announced at Mobile World Congress and is ready by March.
720p resolution, ICS, unlocked bootloaders, super amoled plus .... all the specs are important but battery life trumps all, at least with me. Unplugging at 6am in the morning and never having to worry about the phone dying is what I'm after and I'd rather not have to carry a brick to get it.
