I use 2-3 GB/month on my unlimited plan. I managed just a touch over 5 GB in my highest usage month when I was traveling a lot.
polls are easier to view and while it probably dont make a difference, that is for 4g data which isn't available to everyone
My wife and I collectively use around 6gb/mo. I use Netflix, web, Craigslist Pro, Pandora, internet radio, Angry Birds (which I've heard is a data-streaming monster), and Speedtest, just because.
Now for my proposed beef: If Verizon takes my unlimited data away (I've been a customer since '03), I will be paying to have ads streaming to me. That's not OK. Furthermore, I've not been able to get the time to root my phone, so I've had to keep the VZ Crap from updating what seems like every day... If I were using any of that, I'd expect them to take that out of my bill. I'm so tired of paying to pay so that I can pay for stuff I paid for that I was told I'd never have to pay for...
I still can't understand why every time they give you something, they take it away. I want to leave Verizon as well, but nothing else out there works in this area. I tried to switch to AT&T (thank God I didn't), and they wanted $2000 to get two iPhones (not the 4, the first one). This was before Android came out. It didn't matter that my history with Verizon was long and almost flawless, and I already had a DSL account with AT&T. No bundle option, because "it's a different entity".
