How many have returned/are thinking of returning?

My most heavily used apps adjust beautifully to the larger size. My Kindle app is now the same size as the 6 inch Kindle PaperWhite reader and the new page size and higher resolution is so much more comfortable. The difference is not subtle. I love it. My Interactive Brokers trading platform on 6 inches works so much better. My old Nexus 5 now feels like a tiny toy in comparison.

I'm a trader myself and I do appreciate extra rows of tickers (I see extra 2 in my TDA Ameritrade and TDA Trader apps). I used to have GS4 which I hated but that was the only thing I missed when I switched to 2013 MotoX. For some reason trader apps do take advantage of extra screen while many Google apps do not. Charts look amazing too. But then again, TDA Trader app is an entirely different app for tablets (REALLY nice... so nice, I pay too much attention to GUI rather than trading LOL) and I wish I could run it in tablet mode on Nexus 6, which is only 1" smaller than my Nexus 7.

The G3 and Nexus 6 are the same size....I put mine on top of it and see no real difference. To eachy his own god bless America. I played with the G3 and found it to be laggy at times that was all for me I prefer Samsung Note 4 over it....the G3 is very large aslo like the Nexus 6.....boils down to preference here IMHO.

I'm not going to return mine, but I'm sure I'll sell it sooner rather than later. That's not an indictment on the Nexus 6; I do that to every device at some point. Overall, I wasn't all that impressed with this device after 2 weeks. I enjoy the touch response, the battery life can be pretty solid, and the camera can take decent pictures if you're patient/knowledgeable with manual exposure. It's not all that fluid or fast all around, though. There's quite a few instances of dropped frame rates. The transitions stutter from time to time. Apps crash/are slow to open quite often. I'm saying this as someone who kept it unaltered for 2 weeks and then have had it unencrypted ever since. They've got a lot of work to do with this OS, but I'm sure they will fix it over time. All in all, this is a pretty good device, but not nearly the world beater I was hoping it would be when they confirmed they were making a new Nexus. There's always next year.

You are correct I meant to say the G Flex which is 6.32" high while the Nexus 6 is 6.27.....my bad. The iPhone 6+ is 6.22 vs 6.27, and 3.07 wide vs 3.22.

You mean what's my next? Good question. Not a lot out there at this point that I haven't used. A Moto X Pure Edition is probably my favorite right now, but it's a lateral move at this point since I'm not concerned with the Nexus 6 size. HTC and Samsung are up next. Might keep this and mess around with a BB Classic or a Windows Phone. I'll hop back to the less popular phones every once in awhile.

If you're on Sprint, the device isn't operating very well as a phone, messaging or sound. But other than that it's just not living up to the hype. I'm returning mine because neither Moto nor Sprint thought highly enough of it's customers to test the device on their own prior to selling to the public.

Maybe it depends on location. Where are you located?

I'm in the Atlanta area and Sprint is excellent here! Fast LTE everywhere and phone service is outstanding. I couldn't be more pleased with either the Nexus 6 or the service.

I'm guessing that's a market-specific issue. There's plenty of faults with this device, but it sounds like you could use an AT&T sim.

You didn't keep your Note 4? Depending when you read this you probably know I have it, since I quoted you in another thread. I like the Note 4 a lot and would recommend it to anyone who doesn't like the N6. Touchwiz is a little better (still not a fan however) and the fingerprint scanner is more accurate.

No I didn't. I don't generally keep any phone for any significant length of time outside of a Nexus. That's because the launch of the HTC/Samsung flagships don't happen until March or later and I grab the Nexus in November. By that time, I've used almost every offering from that year. Love the Note 4, though. It's a great first step towards a much better product line for Samsung.

That's because the launch of the HTC/Samsung flagships don't happen until March or later and I grab the Nexus in November. By that time, I've used almost every offering from that year. Yeah, I pretty much do the same thing, except I hold on to a few for a little bit. I think the only major phone I didn't get was the Moto X 2nd gen.

Great phone, especially the Pure Edition. For me it's waiting to see the M9 and S6. It'll be difficult going back to a smaller phone since I've used the Note 4 and Nexus 6 for the past 2-3 months, though.

Did those settings help you (compared to iphone 6+)? I'm in same boat... expecting a little better battery performance, but more or less realizing that the efficiency of N6's "n-1" generation display is the primary reason.

I just implemented myself (but not sure exactly what "automatic wifi scanning" meant)

This phone is truly awesome. However I miss the battery life I used to get in the note 3. Since I'm sort of having difficulty adapting. I'm thinking about going to the note 4. My wife has it so I get to play with it. I have to say, the SOT is much better than what I'm getting. Only got as high as 4 hours one time.

I'm disappointed it didn't work out, but my Nexus went back today.. The Nexus 6 was a phone I *really* wanted to love. At first the size was both amazing and intimidating. The idea of a 6" screen lured me in, but for the 1st day I had trouble with the idea of pocketing such a large device. That changed though and I quickly got used to, and loved the increase in size from the 2nd gen MotoX I had been using before. Unfortunately though, I found the Nexus was riddled with performance issues - day to day performance was nothing in comparison to what I'd come to expect having used the MotoX for a few months. In the end I just couldn't get over the bugginess and slowness of the Nexus, especially since it came at a premium price. I'm sure the issues were largely due to it being a new device, and I'm sure a future software update would fix them, but I opted to return for now. Maybe i'll give it another shot in the future, but for now I'm out.

I don't have the issues that you have, and I have run across a few bugs, but nothing to make "me" want to send it back. I Ihave a Supcase with a clip on belt holder so No worries about pocketability for me. I did get the 5.01 bug fix earlier this week, and I am extremely pleased with this phone. Good luck with your next purchase. I for some reason can not find day to day performance issues to impeded function as you did; could you explain what they were..

I know real life beats theory and test, but these test show that the Nexus 6 out performs the Note 3. Maybe you just want a Note 4 more than you desire the Nexus at this point and time. I have personally made over 24 hours using this phone 2 hours 59 minuts screen time, three hours talking texting, and surfing the web. What more can you ask of a phone.....I mean really what more !
