How many of u are happy with S9+

I love my s9+. Just don't like the curved screen...
I had an s6, jumped the s7 because it was nearly identical, and I didn't like the s8 because it was too tall and too narrow and it had a curved screen.
I really hope they'll make a flat screen s10

There are rumors that their will be a 5.8" version of the Samsung S10. On the downside, at least some reports indicate it may not have all the features of the S10 with the curved display -- which likely won't have all the features (RAM and extra cameras) of the S10 Plus. Instead, some of the rumors are pointing to the flat displayed S10 as being designed to compete against the iPhone Xr.

I love my s9+ . Im happy with Samsung interface and apps. I just wish it have a flat screen version. But I'm happy with it. I used to have an LG g6 and a V30. S9+ is the best.

Mostly happy to have the 9+ as my droid of choice but I do wish it was faster. No it does not lag but when compared to a OP6 or Pixel (which has less ram and older processor) it just does not feel as smooth.

I appreciate the extra features but just wish Samsung would give us more control over those that we may not want.

TBH is LGs software was not even worse I'd probably have a G7 or V30 instead. Also if P does not land until next year then this will be my last Samsung phone.

I'm coming to the S9 from an S6. I have had the s9 for one month and I'm not at all pleased. Entirely too much nonsense in "settings". Many settings, for me, require multiple selections and when I return to the home screen I find that my selections were not saved. Notifications settings are very complicated and never seem to be set correctly. My favorite text app (2015 Samsung Messages) is no longer available. I'm sorry I spent so much money for such a let- down.

I upgraded from the S8 to the S9 only because my daughter needed a new phone so she got my S8. The differences are few but I think they made some internal upgrades that just makes everything work smoother. The most obvious change is the finger print sensor. The new position makes more sense although after over a year of using the S8 it sure took a while to get used to the slight change in position. Many people, including me, with the S8 had trouble with the sensor working. I used to delete my finger prints every few months and add new ones. That hasn't been a problem with the S9, at least not yet. It also seems to recognize my finger print faster than my S8 did.

Supposedly the camera is better but I haven't really noticed much difference.

Battery life was pretty good on the S8 and seems to be better on the S9. I don't need or use the always on display so that probably contributes to the better battery life.

The best way to improve this phone would be to eliminate the Bixby button (and Bixby too). If they won't remove it Samsung should at least make it so that we could reassign what that button does. It would be pretty cool to have an extra button that could be re-mapped to become a shortcut to do almost anything. That would make the phone stand out.

The S9 is basically an S8 with some minor tweaks to improve known problems. I expect that I'll be happily using this phone for many years to come.

bxActions allows me to use the button as a "skip to next media" button, which helps when I'm listening to music on walks around the city!

I am more and more ignoring the device I am using and more and more focusing on the stuff I do on the device. I think the devices are getting more and more adequate for what we do and less and less exciting.

My S9+ is completely adequate for me and pretty sure a number of other devices would be too.

It feels like my snow shovel, probably will use the one I have until it breaks down before getting a new one.

The next gadget hype is probably going to be electric cars, when it reaches 14.5% market share critical mass, everyone is going to get one eventually.

As someone who used a Pixel 2 XL and has an iPhone X, I'm pretty happy/satisfied with the S9+. It's much more smooth than the Note 8. The extra 2GB of RAM really helps. Plus, the low-light photos are outstanding.

Note 8 has 6gb ram too. The thing that makes it smoother is snapdragon 845
