How many use password managers?

 To Inders99 and anybody, who read or post here: I used RoboForm
3-yrs ago. But currently I use the one-Provided by My PC-Antivirus
called "Kaspersky Password Manager" offers a great security

Difficult to hacking..Password-Managers offers an important
service. We create the passwords-They recorded, storage
and Typed for us,.is a Pita to remember all of them

I've used most. LastPass is really nice if you add the browser extensions, etc..

But for me I really like 1Password. It's the best I've used so fart - and I've used and bought a lot of password managers!

I've used Keepass for years.

As for setting it up, you can put in any password for an existing site (IOW, the one you now use on that site), or allow its password generator to generate a military-strength (20 random characters, including numbers, punctuation, etc.) for a new site. And, if you keep the data file in the cloud, all your devices get to access the same data file - so connect to a new site on a computer, use a password manager to keep the password, then get the password when you're using your phone - from the same file.

The problem I see with Keepass and other password manangers for Android devices is the big difference on how they work compared to a PC. In a PC you go to a sign-in website and Keepass is ready and all you do is click on sign-on on that web page and you are good to go. On an Android device you have apps. I will mention a bank app for instance where you have to log into Keepass then copy the password to the device memory then open the bank app and do a CTRL V to paste the password into the password field, then you hit enter to access your bank accounts. It works this way on all apps on my Android tablet.

I also use Lastpass. Really good app, and I have enabled 2FA with Google authenticator. I think 2FA is essential on such a critical app, plus other apps like PayPal.

i never used them :D its cumbersome and i dont realy need it for my privacy, i dont have secrets on my phone

It is not necessarily about secrets on your phone. It is about being able to access password-protected accounts while browsing the web from your phone.

O_O but still the only password protected accounts on my phone are google and facebook, i dont realy use my gmail so it don't have anything inside of it, and for my facebook naa theres also nothing on it except for personal info which can be publicly viewed

Those two accounts are good examples of accounts where you want only you using them.
Online banking would be another good example.

Ive used mSecure for years on iPhone, htc & now Samsung. Back up & restore works as promised. No faults

After seeing a few promotions here on AC for password managers I'm wondering how many here actually use them and are they cumbersome to set-up and use? The 1Password promotion seemed interesting but I need to look at this more in-depth to make a decision...any feedback on these programs?

Roboform for me... been using it for several years on multiple devices. Love it!
