How many v20 users are former Note 7 users?

The pixel is having lots of little problems I hear.

My biggest beef with the Pixel is what they're charging for that thing and the lack of features such as sd card slot, removable battery, IR blaster and always on display. A phone like the Pixel XL I'd pay $650 for. For cheaper I can buy an S7 edge packed with features or a V20 which has more features and Android 7.0. Sure the Pixel is guaranteed to get security updates for two years and the latest OS, BUT I don't plan on keeping the thing for 2 years as most of us on here buy 2 phones a year!

Flossy Carter was also complaining about the price of it as well. Besides the people with the Note 7 like most of us probably wouldn't like downgrading to a Pixel. Flossy says it is like going from a Ferrari (Note 7) to a Prius. Btw I always wonder how Flossy gets all that money to buy every cell phone that is made.

V20, Note 7, S7 Edge, Pixel, iPhone, all these devices are way over priced.

I'm a former N7 user, I held onto it as long as possible before returning it but the constant barrage of crippling updates/messages was just too much. I absolutely loved the phone. I would have loved it with a flat screen as much as curved, I just liked it aesthetically since it was such a clean design. And the fact that it hid fingerprints so damn well.

There's really only a few things I truly miss from the N7 but I'm sure countless phones in 2017 will have at least the iris recognition. Such a great feature for a grease monkey like myself, just stare at the phone and unlock it without having to take my gloves off or type a pass code. The camera in auto mode was awesome!! And I loved the motion panorama feature. That by far is probably my most missed feature of the device. Panoramic shots were incredible with it. V20 in manual mode is much, much better IMO.

But the V20 was a solid choice once I realized it had the military spec rating. Water resistance isn't a deal breaker for me on a phone, every device I've had I've taken snowboarding caseless and never had any issues. Looking forward to trying this phone out in the deep powder this season, anxious to see what kind of shots it will take in the snow.

At this point I really don't miss the note, the V20 has enough great things going for it to override anything I'd miss

Did you guys see that the Note 7 just exploded while Ceelo Green was using it in the studio.. It was on camera.

Unless Cee-Lo suddenly grew Shaq sized hands, that phone in the video is not a Note sized device. Cee-Lo does not exactly have big hands ;) No offense intended to Cee-Lo.

I've had a great experience with the v20. I'm not sure if it's a placebo effect, but this phone seems faster than my note 7.

I owned a note 7, and now have the v20 it's a nice phone but I have also experienced a lot of random lag moments, I'm waiting for the Note 8 to be released and then I'll be cool :)

Are the lags with apps? Some of the apps haven't yet been optimized for Nougat.

I still get lag with YouTube and in general when the phone is supposed to switch from portrait to landscape it sometimes will not switch and I got to move my phone pretty aggressively so it could switch, and it also gets stuck on websites and when I hit home, some graphics from the website appear for a little moment on the home screen, I wanted to do a wipe cache partition but I never figured it out on this phone

One thing I did get used to was the screen, in the beginning I was finding it hard to get used to not having an Amoled screen but now I like the v20 screen also

Oh man that weird. Sorry you're dealing with that. Have you tried to factory reset?

No It hasn't gotten to the point where I have considered a factory reset, I was a little nervous how I would cope with an LG phone but the v20 aside from the hiccups I described has been a pretty good and solid phone coming, from Samsung I'm used to some lag so it isn't that big of a deal

The only app I've had trouble with on the V20, and only as of late- is Amazon. It's only been during the the holiday season. Go figure, and no surprise honestly. It lags on my iPhone too, people are just blowing up Amazon for the holidays.

Other than that, I really haven't had any lag issues or apps locking up whatsoever. Very, very far and few between and not enough to be a nuisance at all.

This phone is fast as hell. Nougat is fast as hell. As far as phones, I loved my N7. But as far as the overall Android experience- V20 knocks it out of the park for me

I've considered the V20 for a while now; minor bugs (reported) aside. It's too damn expensive especially considering for pre-order it was $200 off (with the throw-away phone). The N7 was expensive too but it felt justifiable, the v20 doesn't. At $500 the v20 seems much more attractive.

Sorry but this phone is worth much more than 500. I paid 621.00 and felt like it was a great deal and was willing to pay more. Maybe it's just not your phone at any price which is why you don't feel it's worth it.
