How many v20 users are former Note 7 users?

I will give the S8 a serious look assuming they have a screen similar in size to the Note/V20 and don't get rid of the micro SD slot. It's said to launch in April so until it's actually on sale might not be until later in April or even May depending on when the revealing event is. I wonder if the Note 8 will get pushed until later in the year also now if the S8 is being pushed back.

If they decide to remove teh SD card slot I probably wouldn't buy it. It would be stupid to remove the feature after bringing it back for the S7 series only to take it away again and wouldn't be good for sales especially when they need to gain users back.

The guy gets a ton of channel views him along with J Williams. How do they get the money for all those phones and other gadgets? I know some of the phones are sent to them from the companies, but the V20 for example I recall Flossy said LG wouldn't send him one so he had to buy it.

Could be many reasons. He may have or earns a lot of money. Maybe he wears all of his money on his sleeve.
I know if I was a single man I could afford a lot of phones and a couple of cars.... Lol

Flossy liked the cameras on the G5 too.

Flossy for his recommended phones to replace the Note 7 recommended the G5 as well lol. The problem with the G5 was that module design and the bootloop issues. Even the shysters at the Tmobile store when I returned my N7 didn't like the G5. The V20 is a lot better flagship device and most on these forums seem to enjoy theirs compared to the G5 not a lot like. I think the g5 is LGs version of the S5 that was a flop.

The S8 won't be the size of the Note. I am pretty sure it will be 5.5 at most. My reasoning for this is because Samsung said they will still continue to make Note products after the 7 fiasco so .. I doubt they would make the Galaxy the same size as the Note.

5.5 the most? So the Edge or Plus version could be smaller than that? The s7 edge is 5.5 inches and I thought it was smallish due to the big edges which is partially why I got a V20. Anything smaller than S7 Edge would be no go for me as that was already pushing it. I can't wait for the Note 8 and V30 to arrive then.

I am just saying if they do the whole S8 / S8 Edge thing it will most likely stay the same size as the S7 / S7 Edge. I don't see why they would make a 5.7 Galaxy phone when they have the Note series for that.

Unless they decide to make the Note 8 with a larger screen around 6 inches which could be possible imo if they get the overall size of the entire phone more compact.

The Huawei Honor Note 8 has a 6.6 inch screen, but I think that is too much overkill. I think the Note 8 should be around 6 inches for the screen. Go big this time.

Would anyone buy a Samsung device if it had a screen similar to Huawei Honor Note 8? If the Honor Note 8 was mainstream in the US and easily available and had cases for it, I'd probably would have bought it to replace my Note 7.

Already mentioned in another thread- I came from the Note 4 and had the Note 2 before that. Samsung ditching the removable battery made me reluctant to get the Note 5 or 7. The V20 has been a perfect replacement so far for me. I really have been enjoying the dac- very impressed. I do miss the s pen- but that is probably about it.

I tried to like the S pen but just couldn't see myself using it. I'm sure it serves its purpose for those who have an application for it.
