The majority says the Note 3 needs 3%-8% over night. Does this mean 3%-8% in Airplane mode or does it mean 3%-8% with all data connections on? Do not get me wrong, I just want to figure out where the problem lies and therefore start with the obvious.
What background sync. This phone has so much different settings I'm pretty lost. I thought I had turned off everything but seems I didn't based on my drain :-(
haha how funny!! I turned off the most hidden sync toggles in the all the sub sub folders, but missed out the most obviousThank you!!
if you pull down the menu from the top with two fingers, there is one button called "sync", I would turn that off.
Do turn off wifi and mobile data before sleep (you can put a power toggle widget on the homescreen, so its just two taps to turn them off).
Also BBM is known for massive battery drain over night, I would stop using it you have it.
If you turn off 'Sync' though and I use GMAIL and Gmail contacts, do these go away when the Sync is off?
With sync turned off, you won't get your Gmail unless you manually refresh. Your contacts will still be there, it just won't sync NEW contacts until you turn it back on.
Turning off WiFi and mobile data - might as well just shut off the device, since it's not able to do anything.if you pull down the menu from the top with two fingers, there is one button called "sync", I would turn that off.
