I'm curious as to how much you all are paying per month for your Verizon service? I want to know if I'll be getting a good deal on my plan or not.

Also with those who still have their unlimited data plans, about how much do you actually use? I know it switches to wifi when in the right area, but how much of your data is actually used per month.

Thank you,

We pay around $200 for 2 smartphones with unlimited data and unlimited hotspot on one, 1 dumbphone, and 1 tablet with 1 gb of data. We also get a 20% discount on our monthly bill. Our plan is 700 min and we each get 250 texts.

Around $77

450 Minutes w/ Friends and Family
Unlimited Data & Text
Asurion Insurance

I have a 17% Access Discount due to my work and the $20 Talk & Text + Data promo which makes my data plan drop from $30 each month to $10. That discount isn't available any longer and only those who have it will get it.

Just easier to take a pic. Once you add in all the taxes it's around $108.00 a month. Plus the company I work for gives me $80.00 a month, so no complaints here.

5 smart phones with unlimited call and text. 10 Gbs a month. 10% discount. So it's about $285 a month. With insurance for all phones.

Thank you,

I pay about $62 a month after a 20% employee discount through work:
- 500 talk minutes (old Alltel plan with nationwide long distance, unlimited Verizon to Verizon, and unlimited nights/weekends) - $39.99 ? 20% = $32
- Unlimited data (grandfathered) - $29.99 ? 20% = $24
- Add a dollar or two more if I text a bit (rarely do though, loathe it; so no texting plan, more cost effective to just pay for the few I use)
- About $5 dollars in taxes and surcharges

Without the discount, it?d be about $75.

As to data use, the phone is always on LTE (never use Wi-Fi) and I average around 1-2GB a month; add another 1-2GB during NFL football season to stream games. Max I?ve ever used was about 5GB. So in reality, I really don?t NEED unlimited, but WANT it for peace of mind of never having to worry about overages regardless of what I choose to do on the phone. :)

Corp account with 7 smart phones (with insurance), 2 dumb phones (no insurance), jet pack and a tablet just over $600 which includes taxes. Just change this week from a personal account and combined with my parents accountt with mine and ended up saving $150 per month. Now with the savings maybe I should go get the Note2 which I really really want :D

Four smartphones and one dumb one.
$300 per month.
Ouch

The plan that I signed up for is 2000 anytime minutes, free nights and weekends, unlimited text with 5gb data - all for $45/month. Although everyone that I know that has Verizon goes nowhere near that much data. I thought that not having unlimited data will hurt me but I guess it will be alright.

Thank you all for your input,

Unlimited minutes and text on share everything. I was really worried about data when I switched to the new plan, but I needed the minutes since I use the phone as my only work phone. I actually lowered my data from 6 to 4 at the beginning of this cycle after watching it for 2 months. The 3 iPhones are on wifi almost always and I switch to wifi whenever I can.

wow,....$45 a month.....how did you do this? is it on an old plan?.....my mom signed up for her gs3 , with one phone on the new tiered plan the cheapest possible was the $50 base plan + her 1gb for $40 = $90 without the fees etc.

i'm at $252 with 2 smartphones with unlimited data, 1 smart phone with 2gb, and 2 dumb phones.

sure i could switch to the tiered plans but it would be $250 for all 3 smart phones to share 6gb.......no thanks......

the tiered plans are just verizons way to jump everyone to smartphones ....just the way the family plans pushed us all into texting and making it a regular part of life :) more data hungry devices mean higher data plans and nice fat data dollars.

Shared 10gb between 4 smartphones and 1 basic phone. ($332)
My line with Nationwide 450/unlimited text/unlimited data. ($88)
Insurance on all the smartphones.

Verizon is a ripoff, but I guess that's what we get for wanting the best coverage. :(
