How much of a difference bezel makes

I know, the iPhone 6 plus is huge
The 4.7 inch one has a pretty good size but 5.5 inches is a bit excessive, especially with big bezels

That's crazy

This is one area that LG seems to really shine. They understand the ergonomics of it all...

The bigger the screen, the more desire to have a small bezel.

The size difference of these 2 phones (that have the same screen size) is nuts

... Again I'd like to say thank you to LG. Love what you're doing.

The 6 plus doesn't feel that big in the hand though because Its thin, light and the nice curve of the glass to the edge and the rounded edges make it feel smaller than it is. Still wish the top + bottom bezels were smaller but they did a good job of making it feel smaller than it is

Way too big. I bought one...taking it back, the G3 proved that you can have a giant screen but keep it small at the same time
My best phones ever :
Xperia z2
iPhone 4s
Lg G3

Was going to switch back to apple since I have iPads and macs. But Apple couldn't win me back over with their prehistoric bezels

I've never understood why so many manufacturers insist on huge bezels.

Well... At least HTC has a valid reason... Getting in those massive speakers. Samsung and Apple seem insistent on hardware keys, which I think are archaic at this point.

They are not, they are very handy and nice to have. I'm planning on switching phones though so I will end up losing my physical home button and getting used to on screen buttons, but it was really nice having it.

I agree with LeoRex that they're archaic. Why have hardware buttons when you could use the space for a screen with software buttons and achieve the same result while providing more screen real-estate.

To each their own, I guess. I found them a little inconvenient... Got big thumbs and I had to turn my finger sideways to hit it consistently... And unlike soft keys, they can't slide out of the way and free up real estate.
