How often do you charge your S9+ / S9 phones?

MY Phone INFO app shows 121 cycles after one year of charging my battery from 5% to 100%. You're really not saving cycles by charging from 40-80% because 2.5 of those charges will result give you one cycle. Doesn't matter if it's going to 100% or not because the battery isn't giving you extended life just because you're not charging to 100%. If someone charges the battery to 50% one day, the next day the battery goes to 100% will result in one cycle.
Refer to table's 2 and 6.

It's similar to bending a piece of metal. If you bend it only a little bit, you could bend it back and forth all day long and not break it. Bend it to the point of stressing the metal, and you'll only be able to do so a few times before it fatigues and snaps. The further you bend it, the quicker the break.

This is a subject that I not only think I have read close to every expert out there but have done alot of experimentation. My conclusion is it depends on what article you are reading! If you read enough you will find that even Samsung states different "expert" directions about charging. Ask a major MAnuf. what their policy is on charging and usage at same team and good luck!

I charge several times per day but I have everything on full blast, I don't want to cripple features to enjoy my phone

Without using it much I can get about 10hrs out of a charge. Longer if I disable all the features and run it in power saving mode but then you have to wonder what the point is. I think battery is by far and away it's biggest flaw alongside reduced water protection. It's all the more strange when you think back to how these issues were fixed way back on the S3 and then s5 models. I think probably the 5 or 7 were their greatest phones. My s9 with normal usage lasts about 6 hrs. Main battery drains appear to be Bixby, Screen, What's App, camera use and internet. So all the good stuff basically. I'm not sure they've done anything of note with the battery since the 7? Those with more tech know how will probably know more on this. Shame really as it has some nice features but you cannot really use them. Interestingly power save on the 5 and 7 models was more substantial. Would last days. Now I get 17hrs at best.

Reduced water protection?

AOD is ok because its awesome
Display setting is at its best because Samsung makes awesome screens so why would I turn it down.

My phone last the day with HEAVY texting , surfing just fine. I charge it every night while I sleep. Some say it will kill the battery and blah blah blah. Even if it does I only keep my phones for the most 2 years so who cares.

I usually start charging mine when I get to 40%. I charge it up to about 80% . I usually charge it to 100% on Friday night because I work all day on Saturday. I usually charge mine once or twice a day depending upon how much I use it. If it's at 50 or 60% and I'm going somewhere that day, I charge it when it's at 50% or 60% and charge it up to 80%

I miss using AOD , I know it drains the battery so I have it off. :/

I dex and have done so with my S8+ and S9+ so my phone is docked 90% of the time meaning it's on charge 90% of the time.

I charge mine pretty consistently throughout the day, not because I need to but simply because I seem to have an issue when the battery gets below 70%. It makes me uncomfortable
