How often do you replace your phone?

I usually go a year but 2014 was kind of crazy. I went from a Nokia Lumia 1520 to an iPhone 6 Plus to a Note 4 to finally a Note Edge. I don't think I will be upgrading in 2015 based on what is predicted to be released this fall. If Windows Phone can improve it's app situation with Windows 10 and release a successor to the Nokia Lumia 1520 I would consider another Windows Phone, but chances of that happening at this point seem slim.

My old galaxy s3, lasted six years, but it got too hot constinatly that was the biggest issue, other then the stock b.s. i had to handle though, I should not lose this phone i have currently, my sister said "always have a back up phone" , I just recycled my old droid razar after umpteenth years of it collecting dust in my room though, i got rid of it because i was constantly talking with now my ex-wife over it throughout all time and space.. anyways to make a short story even shorter, i took that to best buy...

This phone we will see..

Never knew the GS3 was 6 years old. :P

Usually in a year. I just love the samsung note series. I used from Note 2 to 4. I am thinking to go for note edge from note 4.

Once every 6 months. My Cycle is Nexus in October, then whatever HTC or Samsung Has in April. I finance part of that HTC or Samsung Purchase with my Nexus for example I sold my Nexus 6 and paid $150 off contract for my Samsung S6...But you can lose your shirt also I bought the LG G2 one year and though being such a good phone it had the worst resale value...

See I am firm believer that there is some kind of conspiracy that makes phones unusable after 3 years so you are forced to get a new one...At least that is what my Galaxy Nexus thought...

I usually upgrade every year or so... It's an expensive habit I suppose, but I try to counteract it by looking for phones that are lowered in price due to their newly-released cousins. :)

I usually replace my phone when my contract runs out. Ive always had a 24 month but 12 month is what im going for next time. Phones are improving so quickly now.

it depends.....at the beginning i changed my smartphone every three, four month, because of the new technical features.but now im very happy with my s6 and parently i will change it in a half a year

I normally wait quite a while probably 2 years roughly, unless I manage to break my phone... which is what happened with my last phone..

Right now it feels like i keep replacing my note4 every month
Tmobile keep sending me junks as a replacement
I am so sick and tired of this crap
This is the 3rd junk phone they sent me
