How often do you restart your phone?

Try resetting all system settings. Then all you have to do is set-up navbar, screen time oit, etc basic stuff. It will not affect any apps.

Also. do a hard reset. hold the power down until it completely shuts off.

I had the same issue, but it kepts happing on Q. im noe using a different rom.

If it still happens, it could be security settings are stuffed. You might need to disable all pins, face, finger logins to None.

I have it set to automatically restart once a week. About two or three times a week I find that I mysteriously have to unlock the phone via the PIN, which suggests it might have restarted.

I think some phones do that for security reasons. My S10 will sometimes ask me for my PIN even though I know it hasn't restarted recently.
