How safe is the S5 without a screen protector?

I'm waiting for my Spigen GlastR Nano to arrive and don't want to muff up my screen before it gets here.

How safe is the S5 screen naked?

I haven't had a screen protector on it since I got it on 4/11. But I haven't dropped it yet or anything either.

Stay away from beaches and sand in general and it should be fine

I would like it better if it was a 32GB :-\ So far, so good. I'm thinking the S4 was produced using better quality parts. Like the Sim/SD tray just seems so cheap (not spring loaded & stacked), the earpiece looks like cheap black plastic while the S4 one looked bigger, chrome and of better quality. Maybe I've just lost my mind. What screen protector are you using?

I actually got a Glass screen from Verizon - they had them for $25 but with my discount they were $18 and some change. I used the Spigen Glas.t Nano with the S4 and loved it. I had someone post on a thread I did and they said the Zagg Glass was much better than the Spigen when it comes to the oils and such. Not as much smearing and prints left behind. Best Buy has them but of course they want more than Zagg does on line.

I don't believe in any Display/Screen is safe whether it's Gorilla Glass 3 or Sapphire I can't take that risk.

Dropping it I can avoid I think it's been 5 years now since I dropped my phone.

I put Ghost Armor on mine the day I got it. I'm not taking any chances.

It has Gorilla Glass 3, the only worry is cracking it.

Personally I would never put anything between my eyes and this beautiful screen. Anything you're going to put on is going to degrade this magnificent display.

Cases are one thing...a screen protector is quite another.

It should be fine. My Razr Maxx has the first iteration of Gorilla Glass and there's only a couple small scratches on it.
