How scratch resistant is the Nexus S?

Hey guys,

I know that the Nexus is does not have the Gorilla Glass. But in general, how good is the screen in terms of scratches? Has anyone experienced any scratches thus far? It's made of glass, so its hard to get scratches but I'm tempted to get a thin film protector even though I hate how they look on the phone.

Phantom Skinz is 10x better than going "nude" and its only $9 but they send you 2!, that makes it scratch proof and trust me you are going to want protection on that beautiful slab!

I hate screen protectors, but put one on after babying it for a week and getting a scratch while keeping in case in purse - at least it covered it.
I hate these, but would rather have one than look at the scratches that will happen. No gorilla glass (which I
even scratched on Epic, and I'm careful!!)

i got a little nick on my screen already while being super careful with it. this is after having a Hero for almost 2 years that i tossed around without a thought that never got the tiniest scratch...
